The themes used are based onthe themes presented in the first movement. Rondo form should be discussed in class.Throughout the discussion, the A, B, and C sections should also be isolated and played as anensemble, so students will get a physical understanding of how their music fits into the form.Then the class can listen to Metachrome and identify the A, B, and C sections, aurally. Afteridentifying the sections, the class can make a visual chart of Rondo form, specific to the thirdmovement of Metachrome.MATERIALSRecording of Boutry's Metachrome (CSU recording)Student Assignment, located in the student packetASSESSMENTStudents will be assessed based on the class discussion.
