As part of our clean-up day onJune 2 nd , residents who would like agarden bed for their yards can take whatthey can use. We will provide the toolsnecessary for removal. Any remandingbeds will be offered to other localcommunity gardens in the Elwick/Maplesarea.Advisory meetingsIf you live in the MB housing complex youare welcome to come attend the monthlytenant advisory meetings and speak onbehalf your community.July 1 st Canada Day in ElwickVillage Elwick Village Centre isplanning a Canada Day event withentertainers, music, and fireworks. Youwill not want to miss out! Watch out for afurther flyer with more information. Savethe date – July 1 st 4:00 – 10:00pm.We will be looking for many volunteers,let us know if you are interested!Personal use of centreLooking for a space to host your child’sbirthday party? Or maybe a baby shower?Upon availability Elwick village shares ourspace with community members. We requireat least 2 weeks’ notice and a $20.00damage deposit that will be returned oncean inspection of the centre is completedafter the party holder’s event. There will beno exceptions in the conditions.
