DYNAPAR brand PRODUCT MANUAL: Series <strong>S428A</strong> 1/8 DIN Process IndicatorOperator ModeThis is the mode used during normaloperation of the instrument. It can beaccessed from Select Mode, and is theusual mode entered at power-up. Theavailable displays are dependent upon thesetting of the Display Strategy parameterin Configuration Mode.WARNING:IN NORMAL OPERATION, THEOPERATOR MUST NOT REMOVE THEINSTRUMENT FROM ITS HOUSING ORHAVE UNRESTRICTED ACCESS TO THEREAR TERMINALS, AS THIS WOULDPROVIDE POTENTIAL CONTACT WITHHAZARDOUS LIVE PARTS.CAUTION:Set all Configuration Modeparameters and Set Up Modeparameters as required beforestarting normal operations.Entry into Operator ModeThis is the normal operating mode of theinstrument from power-up. It can also beaccessed from any other mode via SelectMode as follows:Hold down and press to force thecontroller into the Select Mode.The sl[t legend is shown for 1 second,followed by the legend for the currentmode.Press or to navigate to the OperatorMode option, then press .Scrolling through Parameters andValuesPress to scroll through the parameters.While this key is pressed, and up to 1second after, the parameter legend isshown, followed by the current parametervalue.Changing Parameter ValuesPress to select the required parameter,then press or to set the value asrequired.Once the displayed value is changed, it iseffective is immediately. No confirmation ofthe change is required.Pressto move onto the next parameter.Note:The operator can freely view theparameters in this mode, but alterationdepends on the Display strategy settingin Configuration Mode.
