FeaturesCompact design saves onprecious panel space.Microcontroller based providesbetter accuracy andhigher reliability than analogdesigns.A potentiometer is used toset the trip point anywherefrom 2 - 135 A.Sensor Power and outputstatus LEDs.SPDT relay can switch480VA @ 240 VAC.Screw terminals eliminatemessy pigtail connections.Model LSR-24, LSR-115, & LSR-230 Load Sensors use current levels todetermine feed rates, tool wear, loss of prime on pumps, mixer viscosity, and all types of over and under load conditions. They may also be used tostage pump motors, chillers, and other machinery. These devices combinea current transformer (CT) with Form C (SPDT) relay contacts to switchalarm circuits, contactors, or any resistive or inductive load. One simplescrewdriver adjustment will calibrate the sensor for all single phase orthree phase applications up to 100 Hp. The LSR-24 uses 24 VAC controlvoltage; the LSR-115 uses 115 VAC control voltage; and the LSR-230uses 230 VAC control voltage.Model LSR-24LSR-115LSR-230Load Sensors•EngineeredProtectionFeatures:•CSA and CSA-NRTL/C•2 year Warranty•Made in USA•Standard surface mount•Screw TerminalConnections•Adjustable potentiometerCritical applicationsinclude:•Fan motors•Scroll compressors•Grinders•Conveyor systems•Elevators•EscalatorsSwitches loads based oncurrent level changesassociated with:•Motor failure•Belt loss•Broken shaft•Bearing failure•Heating element failure•Load loss on fansor pumps•Replaces differentialpressure switch2880 North Plaza Drive • Rapid City, SD 57702(800) 843-8848 • (605) 348-5580 • FAX (605) 348-5685www.symcominc.com • email: sales@symcominc.com05/03
