We wantto make sure that the police are performing their duties properly,” he said.Noor Mohammad was addressing a meeting of community police and citizens atBir Shrestha Matiur Rahman Stadium here.“We want to build a people-friendly police force and the role of the communitypolice is to bridge the gap between the public and the police,” he said.He said people should also cooperate with police in ensuring their security. “Letme know instantly over phone if anyone of you is harassed by any policeman.
