Local Resource Centers, based on the model in Yangon, should be established at the hublevel, staffed with national NGO Liaison Officers, to provide outreach, improve access toinformation, strengthen hub-level coordinationDisaster Risk Reduction (DRR)R.14. The international community should support the development of a national DRR strategy forMyanmar, facilitating learning and technical expertise as appropriate. This strategy shouldhave a robust community level component and immediate priority given to communityconsultations around DRR, not only to improve planning, but to help alleviate widespreadpsychosocial stress.R.15. The Humanitarian Coordinator should take appropriate steps to ensure that all recoveryactivities incorporate appropriate DRR components at a community level.LivelihoodsR.16. Recovery of livelihoods, along with DRR, should be ac top priority over the coming monthsand the HC should oversee a process of consolidation, reprioritization and strengthening ofsupporting monitoring and accountability systems.9
