Notes for students in the Administration and Clinical fields:Students in the Nursing Administration and Clinical Nursing fields of study must complete threefield of study courses. Two of the field of study courses MUST be chosen from the list ofapproved courses above (appropriate to each field). There are three options for the third field ofstudy course. The third field of study course may be selected from:1. The list of field of study courses for either field of study (clinical or administration).2. A graduate course from another faculty that fits with the student‟s program of study – thestudent must seek approval (and signature for the SGS course add form) from the lead teacherfor the field of study.3. The group of relational courses.MN students in the Administration or Clinical field of study MAY NOT take any of the MN-NP fieldof study courses in their MN program.paediatricStudents in the Clinical and Administration fields will take NUR1072Y alone in the final term of theprogram and only after completion of all other coursework and program requirements.Notes for students in the Nurse Practitioner field:Students in the Nurse Practitioner field must complete all 4 foundation courses, all 3 field of studycourses for the patient population selected, and the final consolidation course. Field of studycourses are offered once per year and must be taken sequentially (NUR1100Y, thenNUR1101/2/14, then NUR1115/6/7).The course structure for the Nurse Practitioner field for those starting the program inSeptember 2012 is currently under review.Length of ProgramThe MN program is normally completed within two years of full-time study over six consecutiveterms.
