The login screenis customised with the client’slogo and links to other internalsites and/or documents.Premier Employee Self Serviceenforces:• Password length• Non-Alphanumericcharacters in password• Maximum number of failedlogon attemptsEmployee Summary ScreenAfter sucessful login,employees have a summaryscreen with the following:• Summary of Requests inProgress• Available Payslips• Available IRP5sEmployee updates personal andfamily detailsEmployees can view andupdate the Basic EmployeeInformation such as:• Names & Contact Numbers• Banking Details• Emergency Contact• Statutory information suchas ID Number, Tax Number,Postal and ResidentialAddressesEmployees canalso add new familymembers and editdetails of existingfamily members

View and Print: IRP5s and PayslipsStaff have access to Payslipsand IRP5s. This enables themto print and reprint their ownpayslips and IRP5s withoutrelying on the HR offi ce tosupply them with copies.This feature saves thecompany money in terms ofprinting and distribution costs.The staff member hasunlimited access to his or herPayslip and IRP5 history sincedate of installation of <strong>ESS</strong> atthe company. This informationcan be viewed, even if thepayslip or IRP5 in question isfrom a previous fi nancial year.Expense ClaimsStaff can submit claims forapproval of overtime workedor any other unit type ofexpense using Employee SelfService.The relevant approval manageris notifi ed via e-mail of thepending claim.The employee is notifi ed viae-mail when the overtime orexpense claims have beenapproved.All the approved claimsupdate <strong>VIP</strong> Premier <strong>Payroll</strong>automatically.Workfl ow is applied to theapproval levels to ensurethat authorised managersapproved all expense claims.Leave ReportsManager have access to thefollowing leave reports:• Leave Balances: detailedleave balances of allemployees that report tothe manager• Leave Transactions:detailed report for allleave transaction for aselected date range for allemployees that report tothe manager.Leave CalendarGraphic report for all leavetransactions for a selecteddate range.
