Elsie is expecting her seventh greatgrandchild this year. And I might add, Elsie is alsoan integral part of our reunion committee as well.Mary Ann Cachat Dugan is a gal who is inperpetual motion. Her summer was filled withtravel which included the Shakespeare Festival inNiagara Falls in May; Gettysburg in June; Boston inJuly and August, Amtrack to Montana. In betweentravels you could either find her at the Bridgetable or as the Eucharistic Minister at West ShoreSt. John's.As for me (Agnes Krebs Kermode), I spent areally cool summer in my granddaughter's wadingpool, eating ice cream cones and being crownedby my dentist!!Agnes Laczko Franko tells us her grandson,Brad Franko, can be heard on NBC's Ch 2 (WCBD)on the morning show in Charleston, SC. from 5:00to 7:00 a.m. AND that her brother, the ReverendMonsignor T. Ansgar Laczko, who was ordained inEngland, is at the Holy Comforter-St.CyprianChurch in Washington, D.C.I am looking forward to seeing you in Octoberand hearing about what is going on in your lives. Ihope to hear much “happy, happy talk, talkingabout the things you like to do.” C U THR!1950Barbara Mamrush Jacoby wrote to tell us hermedical mission trip to El Salvador was life changingand to tell of the experiences would take hours.However she did want her classmates and otherreaders to know that, as her group was leaving theairport, they stopped along the road for a shortprayer service at the site where Sr. Dorothy Kazel,NDA ’57 and three other women were murdered. Amemorial chapel has been built at this site in theirmemory.1953Ann Marie Alexander Diamond is a retiredteacher and has been a widow since October of2004. She has four adult children, 10 grandchildren(including a set of twins) and two great grandchildren.Two of her grandsons are in the military, onein the Marine Corps and the other in the Navy.One served nine months in Iraq. She also said hergranddaughter, Amanda, is getting married in May2007. She is active in her parish in Mansfield,Maine and also at town meetings and elections.Ann Marie also volunteers for cooking for theFood-n-Friends Shelter.1954Jolanta Drasutis Peckus sends greetings fromSan Diego where she is attending the AmericanCollege of Emergency Physicians SpringSymposium. She said they are enjoying great meetings,beautiful surroundings and lovely weather.Next stop is Oregon, then Alaska for fishing andthen to Europe.1970Deborah Schlappal married Ed Svercek on May20, 2006. Deborah’s friends and classmates, KathyDiSanto Shumar, Angela Crognale Plona and AnnSeeley LaCute were there to celebrate with them!1982Janette Jorski graduated from the College ofMount St. Joseph’s as a medical tech. She isemployed as a Phlebotomy Supervisor at FairviewHospital and is also certified as an EmergencyMedical Technician.NDCL1994Amy Cebular married Joseph Payne on June 24,2006 at St. Jerome’s Church in Cleveland, Ohio.Classmates Amy Cordaro Cenna and Emily Zane-Voytilla were both bridesmaids. Amy’s brothers,Greg Cebular ’97 and Jon Cebular were groomsmen.Tony Preziuso and his wife, Renee, welcomedtheir first child, a son, this past September. Theyare the owners of Grace Geothermal in Painesvilleand currently live in Madison. They have recentlybroken ground for a new home which will be inMentor.1996Michael Mueller is presently employed at BoiseState University. He and his fiancé, KathrynDubman, were married this past May in California.Following their honeymoon in Hawaii, the couplewill reside in Seattle, Washington. Michael’s futureplans include pursuing graduate studies in actingand theater pedagogy.Paul Boehnlein and his wife, Kim McHenryBoehnlein had a daughter, Sarah Marie, this pastMarch. He’s on the road up to thecoast of Maine and is interviewing for a MBAopportunity at the University of Connecticut weekendMBA executive program.2005Christopher Guerrieri played the role of thefirst guard in the Kenyon College Dramatic Club’srecent production of Jean Anouilh’s adaptation ofSophocles’ Antigone.
