FLORIDA NATIONAL GUARDCAMP BLANDING TRAINING SITE<strong>210</strong>-5 RANGE CONTROL STANDARD OPERATION PROCEDURESCHAPTER 7Plans and Training Division (PTD) Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (<strong>SOP</strong>)7.1 PURPOSE:To establish procedures for the requisition and issue/return of training aids, radios, tactical targetry andtactical range layouts, from PTD Warehouse/<strong>Range</strong> Maintenance.7.2 APPLICABILITY:All Active Duty, National Guard, Air Guard, Reserve, Federal, State, City Law Enforcement agencies, andany other organization requesting training aids or equipment from PTD Warehouse/<strong>Range</strong> Maintenance.7.3 RESPONSIBILITY:All unit commanders and supply representatives, group leaders and group logistic personnel have the directresponsibility to ensure the procedures in this <strong>SOP</strong> are followed when requesting, receiving and turning inPTD property or materials.7.4 PTD RESPONSIBILITIES:PTD Warehouse/<strong>Range</strong> Maintenance has the responsibility for the following:7.4.1 Approving request for the use of all training aids, i.e. (Multi-Integrated Laser EngagementSystems (MILES), Weaponeer Trainer, Engagement Skills Trainer (EST) and all targetry-relatedequipment/materials.)7.4.2 <strong>Control</strong>ling the issue/turn-in of MILES, CTF, Weaponeer Trainer, hand-held radios, rangepaddles, staple guns, headsets, targets and/or any related training aids.7.4.3 Fabricating, installing and maintaining standard and tactical targetry for ranges at CampBlanding Training Facility (CBTS).7.5 PROCEDURES:All military and non-military organizations requesting training aids, equipment and materials shall followthe procedures listed below:7.5.1 All units and organizations performing training on post must have their CBTS post packet signedby an Authorized <strong>Range</strong> Maintenance representative prior to any training aids, radios, equipment ormaterials being issued.CBTS <strong>210</strong>-5 <strong>Range</strong> <strong>Control</strong> Standard Operating ProceduresRevision Date: <strong>01</strong> Oct 20<strong>01</strong>Page - 29 -
