It is not a fancychurch, but it is a spiritual church, and thus a family-building church. Idon't think we should be proud of these characteristics of the churchbecause there is not place for human pride in the presence of God. But wehave no need to be ashamed of these aspects of the church either. Synodratified the action of the 1992 Moderator in appointing NormanCarson to fill an unexpired term in the class of 1995. Those elected toboards and committees of Synod were announced.
