COMMENCEMENT OF WORKThe Contractor is required to start the work of House Keeping with effectfrom the date of acceptance of the contract. In case it is found that thework has not been taken up from the above date, the CCMB at its solediscretion may cancel the work order and the EMD shall be forfeitedwithout any further reference to the Contractor.K. CANCELLATION OF CONTRACT1. Notwithstanding any other provisions made in the contract, the CCMBreserves the absolute right to terminate the contract forthwith if it is foundthat continuation of the contract is not in Public interest. The contractor isnot eligible for any compensation or claim in the event of suchcancellation.2. If at any later date, it is found that the documents and certificatessubmitted by the Contractor are forged or have been manipulated, thework order issued to the Contractor shall be cancelled and SecurityDeposit issued to the CCMB shall be forfeited without any claimwhatsoever on CCMB and the contractor is liable for action as appropriateunder the extant laws.LETTER OF ACCEPTANCEI have read the Tender conditions including the General Terms andConditions of the contract given in the tender document.
