生 態 足 印Footprint世 界 自 然 基 金 會 一 直 推 動 香港 減 少 不 符 合 可 持 續 發 展原 則 的 生 態 足 印 。 本 會 從 政策 、 籌 辦 活 動 及 動 員 公 眾 參與 等 多 方 面 入 手 , 鼓 勵 社 會各 界 攜 手 合 作 , 改 變 這 個 城市 過 度 消 耗 的 風 氣 。WWF continues to bothdrive and lead HongKong towards reducingthe city’s unsustainableecological footprint.Using a combination ofpolicy approaches, eventsand public engagementactivities, we aim toencourage all spheresof Hong Kong societyto work together andchange the city’s patternof over-consumption.地 球 一 小 時Earth Hour2012 年 是 本 會 第 四 年 於 香 港 舉 辦 地 球 一 小 時 ,我 們 繼 續 動 員 社 會 各 界 參 與 這 項 全 球 最 大 型 的集 體 環 保 行 動 , 鼓 勵 大 家 延 續 行 動 精 神 , 定 下個 人 節 能 目 標 。2012 年 3 月 31 日 晚 上 八 時 半 , 全 港 有 超 過 280 萬名 市 民 與 3,300 間 公 司 、 組 織 及 大 廈 響 應 是 次全 球 熄 燈 活 動 。 香 港 的 用 電 量 在 「 地 球 一 小 時2012」 期 間 下 降 4.27%。Two thousand and twelve marked the fourthyear that WWF organized Earth Hour inHong Kong, continuing our engagementwith all sectors of Hong Kong society andexpanding our role in the world’s biggestenvironmental action. This year we askedeveryone to “go beyond the hour” and settheir own energy saving targets.At 8.30pm on 31 March 2012, over 2.8million individuals and 3,300 companies,organizations and buildings across HongKong participated in this global event byswitching off their lights for one hour.During Earth Hour 2012, electricityconsumption in Hong Kong dropped by4.27 percent.鯊 魚 保 育 行 動Shark Initiatives經 過 多 年 的 教 育 和 倡 議 , 社 會 反 對 食 用 魚 翅 的呼 聲 已 越 來 越 強 烈 。 本 會 推 出 的 「 無 翅 宴 會 菜單 選 擇 計 劃 」, 至 2012 年 6 月 , 已 有 超 過 90 家 酒店 和 餐 廳 參 與 , 提 供 美 味 的 環 保 海 鮮 , 取 代 傳統 婚 宴 及 節 慶 宴 會 的 菜 單 。本 會 並 於 2012 年 4 月 推 出 「 向 魚 翅 說 不 」 個 人 承諾 計 劃 , 號 召 有 心 人 士 表 達 他 們 對 保 育 鯊 魚 的決 心 。 在 2007 年 推 出 的 「 向 魚 翅 說 不 」 企 業 承諾 計 劃 已 推 廣 至 金 融 企 業 , 至 2012 年 6 月 共 有136 家 企 業 和 組 織 承 諾 參 與 。After years of education and advocacycampaigns, opposition to the consumptionof shark fin products has gained real tractionacross Hong Kong. As of June 2012, over 90hotels and restaurants have joined WWF's“Alternative Shark-free Menu”(ASM)programme, offering delicious alternativesto traditional wedding and celebrationbanquets.WWF also launched the “No Shark FinIndividual Pledge” in April 2012, bringingpassionate individuals to demonstrate theirsupport for shark conservation. The “NoShark Fin Corporate Pledge” has expandedto include the financial sector. As of June2012, WWF had successfully recruited 136corporations and organizations.教 育Education多 年 來 , 本 會 的 教 育 項 目 在 香 港 及 區 內 廣 為 人知 , 備 受 讚 賞 。 本 會 的 教 育 團 隊 致 力 完 善 這 些教 育 項 目 , 將 可 持 續 發 展 教 育 計 劃 (ESD) 帶 到香 港 、 華 南 及 亞 洲 的 本 地 及 區 內 社 群 。For years, WWF educationalprogrammes have been well known andrespected in Hong Kong and throughoutthe region. The education team isenriching these programmes by bringingEducation for Sustainable Development(ESD) to local and regional communitiesacross Hong Kong, South China andAsia.成 為 卓 越 教 育 中 心BECOMING a Centre of Excellence本 會 的 教 育 團 隊 透 過 元 洲 仔 、 米 埔 自 然 保 護 區 及 海 下 灣 海 洋 生 物 中 心 三 個教 育 中 心 , 為 市 民 提 供 可 持 續 發 展 教 育 。 去 年 共 有 超 過 51,000 名 學 生 到 訪本 會 的 教 育 中 心 和 參 與 外 展 教 育 項 目 。 本 會 的 團 隊 現 正 積 極 在 本 地 及 區 內增 加 培 訓 項 目 , 培 育 下 一 代 成 為 環 保 的 改 革 推 動 者 , 為 建 設 可 持 續 發 展 的未 來 尋 求 解 決 方 案 。WWF’s Education Team delivers Education for SustainableDevelopment (ESD) to people across multiple platforms via ourthree Education Centres: Island House, Mai Po Nature Reserve andHoi Ha Marine Life Centre. Last year over 51,000 students visitedWWF centres and joined the outreach school programmes. Now,the team is looking to employ multiplier training at both the localand regional levels to nurture the next generation agents of changefor the environment and to equip them to find solutions to build asustainable future.3
