財 務 摘 要FinancialHighlights本 會 今 年 收 入 錄 得 輕 微 增 長 。 個 人 及 公 司 捐 款 繼 續成 為 本 會 的 主 要 收 入 來 源 。 總 支 出 增 加 反 映 本 會 對發 展 保 育 工 作 的 決 心 。 增 加 的 保 育 項 目 支 出 主 要 用於 本 會 的 氣 候 變 化 項 目 , 如 為 企 業 而 設 的 「 低 碳 辦公 室 計 劃 」(LOOP)、 為 珠 三 角 地 區 廠 房 而 設 的 「 低碳 製 造 計 劃 」(LCMP) 及 「 氣 候 變 化 」 教 師 專 業 發展 計 劃 。 我 們 繼 續 將 資 源 集 中 投 放 於 香 港 及 華 南 地區 的 保 育 項 目 上 , 以 應 對 區 內 的 生 態 挑 戰 ; 為 實 踐本 會 教 育 下 一 代 的 目 標 , 我 們 同 時 大 力 投 放 資 源 推動 社 區 教 育 。 截 至 2012 年 6 月 30 日 止 的 年 度 財 務 表 現未 如 理 想 , 錄 得 250 萬 港 元 的 營 運 虧 損 。 本 會 已 實 施一 系 列 的 改 善 措 施 , 將 資 源 集 中 投 放 於 重 點 保 育 項目 上 , 並 提 升 效 能 及 生 產 力 。 展 望 將 來 , 我 們 將 專注 補 充 本 會 的 無 限 制 用 途 捐 款 儲 備 , 以 求 提 高 我 們的 營 運 彈 性 。Our revenue grew slightly this year. Bothindividual and corporate donations continuedto be our major sources of income. Meanwhile,total expenditure increased, reflecting ourstrong commitment to certain conservationinvestments. The increased conservationprogrammes expenditure was mainly relatedto climate change programmes such as LOOPfor commercial offices, LCMP for Pearl RiverDelta factories and the Climate Change TeacherProfessional Development Programme. Wecontinued to make our major investments inconservation projects relevant to Hong Kongand South China’s ecological challenges.Likewise our community education investmentscontinued in line with our goal of educating thenext generation.The result for the fiscal year ending 30 June2012 was less than satisfactory with anoperating deficit of HK$2.5 million. Remedialactions have been implemented with the aimof narrowing the focus of our conservationprogrammes and implementing steps toimprove efficiency and productivity.
