• Never use oxygen in a welding torch;use only inert gases or mixtures of theseRISKS DUE TO ELECTRO-MAGNETIC FIELDS• The magnetic field generatedby the machine can be dangerous topeople fitted with pace-makers, hearingaids and similar equipment. Such peoplemust consult their doctor before goingnear a machine in operation.• Do not go near a machine in operationwith watches, magnetic data supportsand timers etc. These articles may sufferirreperable damage due to the magneticfield.• This equipment (KIT) complies with theset protection requirements and directiveson electromagnetic compatibility(EMC). In particular, it complies withthe technical prescriptions of the EN50199 standard and is foreseen to beused in all industiral spaces and not inspaces for domestic use. If electromagneticdisturbances should occur, it is theuser´s responsibility to resolve the situationwith the technical assistance of theproducer. In some cases the remedy is toschormare the welder and introducesuitable filters into the supply line.MATERIALS ANDDISPOSAL• These machines are builtwith materials that do not contain substancesthat are toxic or poisonous to theoperator.• During the disposal phase the machineshould be disassebled and its componentsshould be separated according tothe type of material they are made from.DISPOSAL OF USED MA-CHINERY• Collecting places/banks designedfor back withdrawer should beused for disposal of machinary put outof operation.• Don´t throw away machinery into commonwaste and apply the procedurementioned above.HANDLING AND STOCKINGCOMPRESSED GASES• Always avoid contact betweencables carrying welding current andcompressed gases cylinder and theirstorage systems.• Always close the valves on the compressedgas cylinders when not in use.• The valves on inert gas cylinder shouldalways be fully opened when in use.• The valves on flammable gases shouldonly be opened full turn so that quickshut off can be made in an emergency.• Care should be taken when movingcompressed gas cylinders to avoid damageand accidents which could result ininjury.• Do not attempt to refill compressed gascylinders, always use the correct pressurereduction regulators and suitablebase fined with the correct connectors.• For further information consult thesafety regulation governing the use ofwelding gases.InstallationThe installation site for the KIT systemmust be carefully chosen in order to ensureits satisfactory and safe use. The user is responsiblefor the installation and use of thesystem in accordance with the producer´sinstructions contained in this manual.Before installing the system the user musttake into consideration the potential electromagneticproblems in the work area.
