Making changes forthe betterOver the next year we are planning tomake some major changes to thecommunities you live in. Through beingmore efficient in the way we work, wecan make extra investments in thecommunity and are now in the processof putting our plans together.We have talked to our housing andcommunity officers, you our residents,councillors and other local partners andplans for significant environmentalimprovements are coming along nicely.We will be talking to tenants aboutthese improvements before the finaldecision is made.YOU SAIDWE DIDThe suggested projects are nowbeing looked at to see whetherthey will work in practise.The improvements will start laterthis year and will be spread overa three year period.The type of improvements we are planning will include:■ Boundary fencing renewal■ Provision of off road parking■ Improving some of our communal parking schemes.20 Festival Flyer Summer 2012
