1.7.4 Signature of Client:a) The Participant should capture the Client‟s signature(s) as given in theKYC Applicati<strong>on</strong> Form and/or Account Opening Form in the DPMSystem. For n<strong>on</strong>-individuals al<strong>on</strong>gwith signature of authorisedsignatory(ies), capture the mode of operati<strong>on</strong> in the DPM system.b) In case the trustee(s)/ partner(s) etc. are individuals, capture thesignature(s) of the individuals. In case the trustee(s)/ partner(s) etc. ofthe unregistered trust/ partnership firm are corporati<strong>on</strong>s, companies orentities registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 or TheIndian Societies Registrati<strong>on</strong> Act, 1860, capture the signature(s) of theauthorised signatories in the DPM System.c) Illiterate Pers<strong>on</strong>: A remark should be put in the DPM System (underthe authorised signatory details under "Signatories" screen) at the timeof opening the account that the account holder is illiterate or disabled.d) Blind Pers<strong>on</strong>: A remark should be put in the DPM System (under theauthorised signatory details in 'signatories' screen) that the Client is"Visually Challenged".1.7.5 Standing Instructi<strong>on</strong> indicator: For ease of data entry, the StandingInstructi<strong>on</strong> indicator in the DPM System would be in an enabled status withrespect to all types of Client accounts except for accounts with sub-type“DR” at the time of opening depository accounts. For those Clients whohave not opted for Standing Instructi<strong>on</strong>s, the Participant should disable theStanding Instructi<strong>on</strong> indicator in the DPM System.1.7.6 SMS flag: For ease of data entry, the SMS flag of the account holder willautomatically get enabled in the DPM System after the Participant capturesthe mobile number (Participants are advised to strictly capture the ten digitmobile number with the first digit as “6” / “7” / "8" / “9”) of the respectiveaccount holders at the time of opening of depository accounts. If the Clientsubmits the mobile number but does not wish to opt for the SMS Alert38
