<strong>SAS</strong>/<strong>ACCESS</strong> Interface to DB2 Under UNIX and PC Hosts 4 Arguments 4573 NOPROMPT=3 PROMPT=3 REQUIRED=Here is how these options are defined.USER=user-namelets you connect to a DB2 database with a user ID that is different from thedefault ID. USER= is optional. If you specify USER=, you must also specifyPASSWORD=. If USER= is omitted, your default user ID <strong>for</strong> your operatingenvironment is used.PASSWORD=passwordspecifies the DB2 password that is associated with your DB2 user ID.PASSWORD= is optional. If you specify USER=, you must specifyPASSWORD=.DATASRC=data-source-namespecifies the DB2 data source or database to which you want to connect.DATASRC= is optional. If you omit it, you connect by using a defaultenvironment variable. DSN= and DATABASE= are aliases <strong>for</strong> this option.COMPLETE=CLI-connection-stringspecifies connection in<strong>for</strong>mation <strong>for</strong> your data source or database <strong>for</strong> PCsonly. Separate multiple options with a semicolon. When a successfulconnection is made, the complete connection string is returned in theSYSDBMSG macro variable. If you do not specify enough correct connectionoptions, you are prompted with a dialog box that displays the values from theCOMPLETE= connection string. You can edit any field be<strong>for</strong>e you connect tothe data source. This option is not available on UNIX plat<strong>for</strong>ms.
