Adrian and his <strong>te</strong>am naviga<strong>te</strong>d the Fund through theGlobal Financial Crisis – at 30 Sep<strong>te</strong>mber 2011 the Fund stands at NZ$16.6 billion.Prior to joining the Fund, Adrian held the positions of Chief Economist at WestpacBanking Corporation, Chief Manager of the Economics Department of the ReserveBank of New Zealand and Chief Economist at The National Bank of New Zealand. Healso worked at the New Zealand Treasury and the OECD.Adrian has a Mas<strong>te</strong>rs of Development Economics from Leices<strong>te</strong>r University (UK) and aBachelor of Social Sciences from Waikato University.11
