Criteria for Program ConsiderationThe Juvenile Justice Institute is a program operated by the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District inconjunction with the Twentieth Circuit Court/Juvenile Division of Ottawa County. The purposeof the Council is to provide students an avenue to positively impact the program by guiding their peers inprocessing through issues, effectively dealing with conflict, appropriate expression of needs/wants, and toenhance their leadership skills. The Council will be led by JJI and/or Court staff and meetings will takeplace on a regular basis.5
