Rated voltage and frequency applied at the motor terminals.2. During accelerating period, connected load torque shall be equal to, or less than, a torque which varies assquare of the speed and is equal to 100% of full-load torque at rated speed.3. Two successive starts with motor at ambient temperature, or one start with motor not exceeding ratedtemperature. Subsequently, the number of permissible starts will depend upon the time required to acceleratethe load from stand still to full speed, the thermal capacity of the motor, and the time required for the motortemperature to return to rated temperature after each such start.Driven equipment requiring higher than standard load inertia may require a larger frame size and/or special rotordesigns.
