General: The pricing offered is for the base motor including Siemens standard routine (unwitnessed) testing.2. Para 1.2.a: Motors are quoted for 0 to 40 o C as standard. Oil sump heaters should be added for self-lube applicationsbelow 0 o C.3. Para 1.2.c: Motors are not suitable for offshore or severe corrosive duty as standard. Motor paint is Siemens standard ifnot otherwise specified.4. Para 2.1.2: Refer to the Section V. Noise Levels for API 547 – 2005 and make the appropriate exception per Note 1.5. 5. Para 2.2.2.3: Motor design is based on a 100% Square Curve which means the connected load torque varies as thesquare of the speed and is equal to 100% of the rated full load torque of the motor at rated speed. This is subject tochange upon receipt and review of load information.6. Para 2.4.1.2 TEFC) & 2.4.1.3 (WPII): If specified on Data Sheet or if installation is an offshore platform, we are takingexception to 316 stainless steel and offering 300 series stainless steel.7. Para 3.4: Motor space heaters are not removable.12. Para 4.1.2: Only stator & stator-mounted devices will be high-potential tested.13. Para 4.1.3.2: Non-contacting eddy current probe measurements will only be taken when the probes are purchased withthe motor. If only provisions for probes are purchased, the vibration limits per paragraph 4.1.3.1 shall apply.14. Para 4.2.1: The motor(s) offered will be provided with Siemens standard domestic packing. The motor(s) will not receivelong-term storage preparation. If long-term storage preparation is required, please advise and Siemens will offer at anadditional price.15. If Complete Test is added as a base feature or as an option, make the following comment: “Data Sheet 2 of 3, Line 32: Ano load bearing temperature run (4.1.2.h) is not provided as standard when a Complete Test is purchased. Siemensreserves the option to use the procedure per paragraph 4.3.3.10 for hot vibration evaluation."V.
