No students or childrenare permitted to view any classes.AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARDThere will be an award for the competitor chosen by the audience at the Finals.FINALS & ADMISSIONThe finals will take place on Sunday 25 th March 2012, starting at 2pm in the Science Theatre, University of NSW, Anzac Parade, Kensington.Adults - $25.00 Children / Pensioners - $20.00The Panel requests all teachers to consider a “Studio Donation” for the Isobel Anderson Awards. Your support of the Awards will beacknowledged by naming your school in the programme. We ask that this donation (cheque/money order payable to RAD NSW RegionalAdvisory Panel) be sent to Sonja Dene with your entry.We hope that many of you will consider a small donation, even if you do not have students entered in the Awards as it will advertise yourstudio’s support for this wonderful event.

Conditions of EntryThere are four awards open to students who are resident in New South Wales and have passed their Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate,Advanced Foundation or Advanced 1 examinations during 2011. Students must enter at the level of their last exam passed.All entrants will attend open classes on 22 nd or 23 rd March at Sonja Dene’s studios, 2-3/18 Anvil Road, Seven Hills.Semi-finalists may be selected to dance at a further class on the same day.Notification of class times will be emailed to teachers one week after entries have closed and total numbers have been collated. Telephonequeries can only be made by teachers.From classes, finalists from each level will be chosen to dance at the finals on Sunday 25 th March at 2.00 pm. There will also be a rehearsaltime allocated for the finalists on the morning of the 25 th . It is the responsibility of teachers to ensure that all their students entering thecompetition have a sound knowledge of the finals content.The syllabus is not taught or revised during the classes or rehearsals.Please Note: Finalists will be asked to show their latest Royal Academy of Dance Examination report.All entrants must be from a financial registered or pre-registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance and may only be entered throughthe school. Individual entries will not be accepted.Candidates enter at their own risk.Some physical contact may be necessary by a member of the faculty to demonstrate exercises or if a member of the staff needs toadminister first aid.Dress for Classes:GIRLS: Sleeveless leotard (colour optional), pink tights, pink ballet flats or demi pointes.Pointe shoes are required for the semi-finalists only.There will be no pointe for Intermediate Foundation entrants.BOYS: Tights; leotard or fitted top, socks, shoes (colour optional)Dress for Finals:Finalists will dance the Syllabus set dance (as a solo) at their level of entry.Girls wear a leotard of any colour for the exercises and a matching calf length chiffon skirt for the pointe and study.There will be no pointe study for the Intermediate Foundation girls.Male finalists wear tights and a shirt or top or a unitard.
