A few f<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>gs are worth mention<strong>in</strong>g. For nearly all outcomes, youth seems to behighly associated with program success, suggest<strong>in</strong>g a great need to provide targeted <strong>in</strong>tervention forthem. Impacts on women are particularly large only for attitudes, <strong>in</strong>dicat<strong>in</strong>g these types of<strong>in</strong>tervention are useful for female empowerment but may not be sufficient to address variousbarriers faced by women. Increases <strong>in</strong> earn<strong>in</strong>gs especially among youth and those with highereducation seem to be due <strong>in</strong> part to improv<strong>in</strong>g bus<strong>in</strong>ess performance.5.2.1. Labor Market OutcomesTable 9 presents the results from random effects models of effect sizes estimated on the labormarket activities and <strong>in</strong>come <strong>in</strong> Panel A and B respectively. In each panel, the first row shows theoverall effects of the follow<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>terventions relevant for labor market outcomes: bus<strong>in</strong>ess tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g(<strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g f<strong>in</strong>ancial tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g), vocational tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g, and f<strong>in</strong>anc<strong>in</strong>g (grants and microcredit) regardlessof provision of counsel<strong>in</strong>g service (regression results of the correspond<strong>in</strong>g RE model are presented<strong>in</strong> Table A4 <strong>in</strong> Appendix). The subsequent rows present the heterogeneous impacts of each<strong>in</strong>tervention along the type of beneficiaries and country typology 36 (not shown <strong>in</strong> the table).
