The westernmost third of the site slopes steeply down toward the Potomac rail line alongthe northern property boundary. <strong>Site</strong> elevations range from <strong>10</strong>0 to 140-feet above mean sea level(amsl).FloodplainsInformation from Flood Insurance Rate Maps published by the National Flood InsuranceProgram, which is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), wasreviewed for the Subject <strong>Site</strong>. The western portion of the Subject <strong>Site</strong> is located adjacent to a<strong>10</strong>0-year flood zone; however, the site is not located within the <strong>10</strong>0-year flood zone (seeAppendix E).STANDARD <strong>ENVIRONMENTAL</strong> RECORD SOURCESFederal Regulatory Record SourcesCurrent U.S. EPA and tribal regulatory records were reviewed to assist in identifying potentialrecognized environmental conditions in connection with the Subject <strong>Site</strong> or nearby properties.Records were obtained through Environmental Data Resources, Incorporated (EDR). Thedatabase search was performed in accordance with ASTM for the following federal databases:• National Priorities List (NPL) and Proposed NPL sites;• Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability InformationSystem Report (CERCLIS);• CERCLIS No Further Remedial Action Planned Report (CERCLIS-NFRAP);• Resource Conservation and Recovery information System (RCRIS) Treatment,Storage, and Disposal (TSD) Facilities Report, Large Quantity Generators (LQG)Report, and Small Quantity Generators (SQG) Report;• RCRIS TSDs subject to Corrective Action Report (CORRACTS);• Emergency Response Notification System (ERNS); and• Supplemental federal databases reported by EDR.The federal and tribal regulatory records search was performed in accordance with the ASTM E1527-05 standard (with respect to the databases searched and the search radii). A copy of theEDR report is included as Appendix D. The report provides additional detail on the searcheddatabases, database release dates, and the database listings.
