EHS Angel NetworkThe EHS Angel Network provides basic assistance to students in need on animmediate, short-term basis. We believe that ALL high school kids are OURkids, and we want them to succeed. We are currently collecting food andtoiletries for about 90 baskets that will be distributed for Thanksgiving, as wellas 90 baskets for the winter holidays. These baskets are for EHS studentswhose families are struggling due to extenuating circumstances, such as theloss of a job or a serious illness within the family. The EHS Angel Networkcommittee would like to thank all the generous donors who have given supportthrough food, clothing, and monetary donations. Your generosity and willingness to help the EHScommunity is greatly appreciated! If you would like to help by making a food or monetary donation,please go to http://www.eastpennsd.org/ehs/, click on Programs, and then click on Angel Networkfor further information.Students in need of assistance can receive help by contacting their school counselors anytimethroughout the school year. The EHS Angel Network is here to assist with school supplies, clothing,personal items, and any other needs students may have. All assistance is kept confidential.Has your child been absent and missed atest or quiz?If so, then this information is for you!Mr. Kutz and Mr. Oswald have been running the morning and afternoontesting sessions here at EHS. If your child is absent from school andmisses a test or quiz, he/she can make arrangements with his/herteachers to have the test/quiz sent to either Mr. Kutz for morning testingor to Mr. Oswald for afternoon testing. Students will not lose class timeif they make up their work during this time. The testing areas are quiet, and the students are closelymonitored.AM Testing is held in Room 236 with Mr. Kutz from 6:30 am– 7:15 am on Monday through Friday.PM Testing is held in room 518 with Mr. Oswald during period 9 (1:44 pm—2:25 pm), Mondaythrough Friday, and from 2:30 pm— 3:15 pm, Monday through Thursday.There is no morning testing if there is a late start or on the first day of school after Thanksgiving,Winter Break, Presidents’ Day, <strong>East</strong>er vacation or on the day of the Senior Breakfast.Page 12
LATE BUSTUESDAY & THURSDAYDeparts EHS at approximately 3:20 pmStudents must sign up in the Main Office by 10:30 am to use thelate bus. Students that are participating in after school activities(i.e. detention, school sanctioned clubs or testing) are eligible forthis service and their attendance and/or participation is verified.Students are not allowed to use the bus for any other reason.Once a student leaves school property, he/she is not allowed toreturn to take the bus.Discipline referrals will be given to students who do not follow thispolicy.Cell Phone Reminder:Students at EHS are not permitted to display or use cell phonesduring the school day.Consequence for a first offense is two (2) Saturday morning detentions.The policy exists to keep our children safe.
