EHS Drama Department PresentsPhantom of the Operaby Andrew Lloyd WebberThe Emmaus High School Drama Department will present Andrew Lloyd Webber’s worldrenownedmusical The Phantom of the Opera on March 23 rd , 24 th , 25 th , and 26 th , 2011 at 7:00p.m. in the Emmaus High School auditorium. There will also be a matinee performance onMarch 26 th at 2:00 p.m.The Tony Award-winning musical is based on the French novel Le Fantome de l’Opera byGaston Leroux. The central plot revolves around a beautiful soprano, Christine Daae, who becomesthe obsession of a mysterious, disfigured musical genius. Memorablesongs include “Think of Me,” “Music of The Night,” “All I Ask of You,”and “Angel of Music.” The Phantom of the Opera opened in London in1986 and on Broadway in 1988. It is the longest-running show in Broadwayhistory.We invite you to attend our show to enjoy an affordable evening of theatre,and to see that your support is going to a group of very dedicatedyoung performers. Tickets prices are $8.00 for students and $10.00 foradults. Ticket reservation forms will be available at www.eastpennsd.org/ehs beginning in January.
