The system is an excellent combinationof performance, quality workmanship and affordability. The <strong>Akrapovic</strong>SLIP-ON is designed for two markets: for the US market it is equipped with anapproved spark arrester, and for the EU and other non-US markets it comeswith a noise damper.PERFORMANCEMeasurements of the <strong>Akrapovic</strong> SLIP-ON system on the ATV HONDA <strong>TRX</strong> <strong>450</strong>(without noise damper or spark arrester):Power & Torque: the advantage of the <strong>Akrapovic</strong> <strong>Slip</strong>-<strong>On</strong> can be felt most clearly atthe bottom end and in the middle of the rpm range, where the increases in powerand torque are the greatest. At the top of the range the <strong>Akrapovic</strong> curves follow thestock curves, with an increase appearing again in the overrev range. It is attached to the stock header assembly with a sleeve joint, which issecured with a metal clamp. The muffler is the offroad design, with a titanium outersleeve, and the inlet cap, outlet cap and inner perforated sleeve made of stainlesssteel. The muffler is attached to the frame with an <strong>Akrapovic</strong> carbon-fiber clamp.
