Description of Task to be completed10 • Ensure that all safety barriers, signage, isolations and permits are in place, if required.20 • Visually inspect the control Panel for signs of damage, contamination.30 • Ensure panel display is operating correctly. Visual Display Units are in good working order and touch screenskeys operate correctly (if fitted).40 • Check sensors are free from dust and or debris, blasting electrical connections with clean air aerosol to preventbuild-up of dust.50 • Check all switches for obvious signs of damage and correct operation.60 • Ensure there are no fault/alarm indications.70 • Inspect doors for correct operation, lubricate if necessary.80 • Check correct operation of door interlock mechanism and adjust if necessary.90 • Clean out interior, blasting electrical connections with clean air aerosol to prevent build-up of dust.100 • Inspect all cables for signs of damage.110 • Check condition of ‘break glasses’.120 • Inspect fuse carrier & fuse holders for signs of overheating.130 • Visually inspect the internal and external of the control panel for any signs of electrical arcing or damage.140 • Inspect circuit breakers for signs of overheating.150 • Clean or replace filters on the fan if fitted.160 • Test functionality of fan by turning down the set point and observing the fan starts up remembering to turn thesetting back to previous setting (should be approx. 25°C) if fitted.170 • If SMS test facility is installed on control panel, test.180 • Test all indication lamps if possible.190 • Maintain good housekeeping at all times; Tidy the work area, removing any waste products generated during theroutine.200 • Remove all barriers, signage and isolations before signing off permit/s.210 • Return the Control Panel back into service.18 July 2013 08:23:31 GMT+01:00 1 / 3
