Accellerated concrete strength curing tank<br />

ASTM C 684, BS 1881<br />

It consists of a fully insulated double wall tank<br />

with cover, inside all from stainless steel, outside<br />

constructed from painted steel. Insulation by<br />

mineral wool.<br />

The tank can take up 16 cubic 150 mm side<br />

specimens or 16 cylindrical diam. 150 mm<br />

specimens.<br />

The test consists essentially in curing the concrete<br />

specimens by the steam generated by the water<br />

layer heated by 3 electric resistances of 1500 W<br />

each, or curing in warm water 35 - 55°C.<br />

The temperature range reaches 100°C.<br />

The separate control panel comprises the main<br />

switch, thermoregulator, timer and pilot lights.<br />
