Creative Arts High School, cont.2. Rowan UniversityIt is recommended that permission be granted for Creative Arts High School to continue itspartnership with Rowan University for the 2010 – 2011 school year. Rowan University will provideprofessional development opportunities for visual and performing arts teachers.It is also recommended for Creative Arts High School students to attend various performances/ cultural events sponsored by Rowan University. Transportation will be provided by Rowan University.It is further recommended that Rowan University will provide master classes and early collegecourses for students in the area of creative and performing arts.There will be no cost to the Board.3. Arden Theatre CompanyIt is recommended that permission be granted for Creative Arts High School and ArdenTheatre Company, Philadelphia, Pa. to continue their educational association through the 2010 – 2011school year. Students will attend theatrical performances, workshops, master-classes and additionaleducational activities provided by the Arden Theatre’s school outreach program. All programs andtransportation costs are provided by The Arden Theatre and its supporters.There will be no cost to the Board.4. Girl Talk and Evolution March to ManhoodIt is recommended that permission be granted for students from Creative Arts High SchoolGirl Talk and Evolution March to Manhood to continue to participate in meetings and activities throughoutthe 2010-2011 school year.There will be no cost to the Board.5. Hispanic Family Center of Southern NJIt is recommended that permission be granted for Ms. Catherine Johnson, Health and SocialServices Coordinator, Creative Arts High School to collaborate with the Hispanic Family Center ofSouthern New Jersey during the 2010-2011 school year.There will be no cost to the Board.C. Woodrow Wilson High School (Mills)1. ProgramsIt is recommended that permission be granted for Woodrow Wilson High School’s 9 th GradeAcademy students to participate in the programs sponsored by the following agencies during the 2010-2011 school year.New Jersey State Bar Foundation Wegmans Food MarketNew Jersey State PoliceService Learning ProjectGang Awareness and Prevention ProgramBonner Center for Civic and Community Engagement from the College of New JerseyThere will be no cost to the Board.Official Report 99September 28, 2010
