Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) Lego Robotics Tutorial and CompetitionIt is recommended that permission be granted for 7 th and 8 th grade students at Cream FamilySchool to participate in the Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Laboratories (ATL) 2010 LegoRobotics Tutorial and Competition. Ten (10) students will attend the program, Saturdays, onOctober 9 – October 30, 2010 and November 7, 2010, 8:45 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Parents will providetransportation.There will be no cost to the Board.2. Holiday PartyIt is recommended that permission be granted for Cream Family School to host a Holiday Party,October 19, 2010,, 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Ms. Cristina Castro will provide security and will be paid by thePTSO.There will be no cost to the Board.G. Parkside Elementary School (Kirwin)1. Donation of Book BagsIt is recommended that permission be granted for Parkside Elementary School to acceptdonations of book bags from Woodland Community Development Corporation and Macys. Book bagswill be given to all Parkside School students.There will be no cost to the Board.H. Sumner Elementary School (Kirwin)1. Jersey Roots, Global Reach ProgramIt is recommended that permission be granted for the 4 th grade students at Sumner School toparticipate in the program, Jersey Roots, Global Reach, funded through a five year grant from USAD-CYFAR to provide educational programming on global climate change and environmental awareness forurban youth.
