Staff are reluctant to respond for a number of reasons: • they are suspicious that the system will seek reprisals if they communicate negative feedback, despite saying they trust the principalship • they do not make the time to prioritize it • they are happy with the way things are. Staff are encouraged at Staff Forums to involve themselves in this quality assurance process. Most staff do respond to the Psychological Health survey. The students respond positively to the Student Opinion surveys and the 70% of parents randomly selected for the survey will usually complete it. 36
