This application involves the measurement of glass fibre connections.The measuring procedure is based on the angle change of a reflector, in which the wavelength of the laser beam is changed and evaluated. The mechanical rotation of the reflectoris controlled through a stepping motor drive with a micrometer spindle. The stepping motoris installed on a roller table ND 1, in order to compensate for the longitudinal movementof the micrometer screw.
