The awards night formally recognises thecontributions made by our local media to the promotion andcoverage of the <strong>SANFL</strong> competition. In a similar vein,Coca-Cola Amatil has provided invaluable and loyal supportfor the past 25 years.AAMI’s naming rights sponsorship continues to provideenormous support to the <strong>SANFL</strong> in our endeavours tocontinually re-develop and upgrade AAMI Stadium. Ourrelationship with AAMI is outstanding and we were thrilledthis year to reach an agreement on an extension of thepartnership through to the end of 2010.The Government of South Australia through its Office ForRecreation Sport and Racing supports a broad range of ourjunior development programs directly contributing to increasedparticipation levels and healthy active lifestyles for children.Our partnership with Mazda Australia has also contributedgreatly to the delivery of junior development programs andwe are delighted that Mazda has agreed to extend its supportfor a further two-year period.The Video Ezy and Red Rooster Junior Developmentprograms have reached in excess of 382,000 children andtheir families over the past two years. This amazingachievement would not have been possible without thefinancial support of Video Ezy and Red Rooster.Our broadcast partners and media professionals all play asignificant role in the promotion of our competition. Inparticular, ABC TV has provided outstanding support intaking its coverage of <strong>SANFL</strong> matches to the metropolitanand country regions. Having just completed year one of ourcurrent three-year broadcast arrangement, we look forwardto ABC TV’s on-going expertise and support.<strong>SANFL</strong> Family Friendly Areas are a key draw card forattendances. These areas are made possible through thecommunity minded funding of Savings & Loans Credit Union.We have been pleased to see an extension of thissponsorship to the end of season 2007.It is impossible to attend AAMI Stadium without noticing thestrong support the League has received from SA Lotteries.This partnership dates back to 1989 and has coveredsponsorship, arena advertising and sponsorship of theMagarey Medal over the years.The <strong>SANFL</strong> is fortunate to have a large number of valuedcorporate partners and we thank all of these sincerely fortheir support.LOOKING AHEADPlanning is already underway for a new television, radioand press campaign for season 2007. This, in conjunctionwith new themes and feature rounds, will ensure thecontinued growth of interest in our competition in the face ofwhat has become an increasingly competitive sportsentertainment market.18
