On behalf <strong>of</strong> the <strong>European</strong> Society <strong>of</strong> <strong>Pathology</strong>and the Society <strong>of</strong> Czech Pathologists, we would like towarmly invite you to join us in Prague and to be part <strong>of</strong>the largest gathering <strong>of</strong> pathologists in Europe in 2012. Itis 25 years since a <strong>European</strong> <strong>Congress</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Pathology</strong> waslast held in Prague, in 1987 – those <strong>of</strong> you who had thechance to visit this city before will appreciate how muchhas changed since those times.Ales RyskaAs both the breadth and depth <strong>of</strong> information in pathology continues to grow enormously,we believe that we should devote our efforts to developing not only our routine dailypractice but also our scientific activity for the overall benefit <strong>of</strong> patients.
