Brown meat inbatches and transfer toa casserole dish.2Add onions to pan andcook for about 3 minutes.Add garlic and cook afurther minute.Beef and lambare rich sourcesof protein, iron,zinc and vitaminsB 12 and D34Sprinkle flour over andstir well to coat onions.Gradually pour in theGuinness and stock. Bringto the boil to make a smoothsauce. Pour over meatin casserole dish. Mix inbacon, thyme, prunes andorange rind.Cook at 160°C for 1½ - 2hours or until the meatis tender. Serve withmashed potatoes.
