Congratulations to all boyswho represented the College so well.St Virgil’s College retained the JuniorBoys’ Shield by one point from TheHutchins School, with The FriendsSchool in third.• Jack Direen represented Tasmania inMarch at the National TriathlonChampionships.• Max Giuliani had an amazing weekendin Burnie at the Junior Tasmanian SurfLife Saving Championships. Max wonfour gold medals for individual eventsas well as a gold, a silver and twobronze for team events.• George Drew represented Tasmania inthe State Junior Trap Shooting in theAustralian National Trap ShootingChampionships in Wagga Wagga NSWin March.• Tom Messer, Joshua Wylie, LachlanReilly, Shae Burnett, Max Newett andSebastian Brown representedTasmania in the National Junior WaterPolo titles held on the Gold Coastin April.• Jarrod Kaye, Jack Stevenson andKeegan Oates represented Tasmanianin the Under 15 National titles inDarwin in June. Jarrod made animpressive 64 in the final game againstthe Northern Territory.• Bailey Cowen was chosen to play a partin the new music film clip for TheWolfe Brothers. The clip was shownnationally!• Josh Smith of Grade 7 representedTasmania recently at the AustralianNational Judo Titles in Wollongong.He won Bronze in the Senior BoysU/45 kg Division.• Liam Roach represented Tasmania atthe Australian Junior Boxing Titles onthe Gold Coast in April.• Kobi Gray competed at the PITcompetition at Mill Park inMelbourne. SSATIS Cross Country2. 2015 Rowing at Lake Barrington15• Jarrod Hunter attended the YouthNational Archery Competition inPenrith, Sydney over the EasterHolidays and came away with threeGold Medals.• Bayley Campbell of Grade 7 won Goldin the Australian Little AthleticsChampionships in the 1500m racewalking event in Perth with a personalbest (PB) of 7 minutes 14 seconds.2 6• Jackson Devine, Tadhg Waddington,Max Giuliani and Joshua Wylie havebeen selected to represent Tasmania inthe 2015 Pacific School Games inAdelaide in November.• Ben Spinks won both the Junior andSenior Men’s U60kg judo gold medalsat the Tasmanian Judo Championshipsin Ulverstone.
