President’s Welcome
Welcome to “A Vintage Affair!” On behalf of
the Junior League of Seattle, thank you for
joining us for this important evening.
For 88 years, the Junior League of Seattle
has successfully met the emerging needs
of our community by initiating cutting edge
programs and providing trained volunteers
to lead service projects, community
education programs, and fundraising and
advocacy efforts. Currently, we are excited to focus on educating
and empowering women and children through community
programs. Our three key Focus Areas include: combating
childhood obesity, ending violence against women, with a
particular focus on human trafficking, and working to better the
lives of disenfranchised youth and the foster youth of Seattle.
An evening as special as this would not have been possible
without the tremendous work of our Premier Event Committee,
led by Chair Caitlin Echelbarger, and her three amazing Vice
Chairs: Anisha Ishida, Kim Jones, and Tina Quinn. Thank you to
them and to the entire committee for their tireless efforts.
The funds raised this evening will go towards supporting each of
our community projects and training, helping us to continue to
positively impact the lives of many women and children in our
community. Enjoy the evening and thank you for your generous
