Do you love letterpress printing but not sure how it works or
what is involved? This class is for you! Experience a personal
tutorial by Dahlia Press owner Stephanie Clarke who has been
profiled in such magazines as Seattle Bride and Metropolitan
Bride and Groom for her letterpress invitations and designs. In
this introductory workshop you’ll learn the basics of letterpress
printing including the general mechanics of platen presses, tutorial
of setting type, designing and prepping files, mixing ink, and
preparing the press for printing. Set type and print your own set of
stationery on a tabletop Craftsmen Pilot press. After the class, you
will take home a set of 20 personalized letterpress notecards and
blank envelopes.

apron to wear during printing.
