Our Lady of GraceWe are very pleased andexcited to announcethe official re-openingof Our Lady of Grace Catholic Schoolon Feb. 3rd, <strong>2014</strong>. The new schoolis an amalgamation of the Princeof Peace, Our Lady of Assumptionand the Our Lady of Grace schoolcommunities.Our Lady of Grace CatholicSchool is a K-8 school, offering Full-Day Kindergarten. It is a feederschool to St. Joan of Arc SecondarySchool in Barrie.The school is a beautiful42,165 square foot facility thatwas completed at a cost of $10.5million and will provide a modernlearning environment for our schoolcommunity. The school has aninviting street presence on Roth Streetin Angus with a cross prominentlydisplayed at the entrance, whichleads into the open foyer.A large two-storey chapel issituated at the front of the schooland an alcove was built in the mainentrance to display the statue fromthe Our Lady of the AssumptionCatholic School, which celebratesthe school communities comingtogether in the new Our Lady ofGrace.The main office is situated tothe left of the entranceand will allow for thenecessary supervisionof students and guests.The library, which canbe used as a sharedvenue by the broaderschool community, isalso adjacent to the mainfoyer. There are specialfeatures in the schoolsuch as in-floor heatingfor the Kindergarten andmain floor classroomsproviding for a comfortable learningenvironment.
