Artists Light up the Street - St. Adèle
Artists painting and performing in the
street, three bands of musicians playing

Jacinthe Dugal-Lacroix - St. Sauveur
There is a new gallery, with a display
of sculptures by Jacinthe Dugal-
Lacroix, who celebrates the human
body in movement and women’s life
cycles, as well as combining skilful
drawings with paint and gold-leaf.
She also makes an interesting smallsculpted
image to be worn on a scarf
as a pendant, or, displayed on a stand.
Jacinthe has exhibited her sculptures
in numerous shows around the world

Roffey and Ilania Abileah, present
“Home Sweet Home,” which was
inspired by a trip to sketch a beautiful
Victorian home surrounded by one
of the most magnificent gardens in
Argenteuil. The idea of sharing the
walls with paintings describing “Home
Sweet Home” was born. David has a
passion for architectural structures,
gardens and boats, which at times
are homes. He paints with attention
to detail and atmosphere; his style is
distinct and the mood serene. Ilania’s
passion is for flowers. The garden is
where her heart is! David does it with
oil and watercolour, Ilania does it with
acrylic, water-based printing inks on
paper and paints on ceramic pieces,
moulded by hand. Two different styles
that somehow go well together! Sat.

images from old-painting
photographs; Raymond Aubin:
“Tracanage,” panoramic

the images reflect the passing crowd
wandering and in solitude. Jean-
Marcel Dumontier: researches light
nuances and contrasts in obscure
creations, displays his recent works
done with industrial paint, tar and ink,
which are grated to create textures.
