Def initions
Thailand Standards Industrial Classification are used to categorize crops into groups such
as food crops, oil crops and fiber crops.
Agricultures and products refer to agricultures and food products group, agricultural
products for agroindustry group and agricultural factors.
Rice (mixed) refer to the major rice and second rice.
Major Rice refer to the rice grown between May and October, except in Nakhon Si Thammarat,
Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat whereas the major rice is
grown between 16 June and 28 February of the following year.
Second Rice refer to the rice grown in dry season between November and April of the
following year, except in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and
Narathiwat whereas the second rice is grown between 1 March and 15 June.
Maize, Mungbeans, Soybeans, Groundnuts, Garlics, Shallots, Onions, Potatoes and Baby Corn
refer to the crops grown between May and April of the following year.
