Meat Ducks refer to ducks especially kept for meat. These include male ducks of layer
varieties and Muscovy that farmers kept for meat, and excludes unproductive layer ducks.
Layer Ducks refer to female ducks of layer breeds kept for eggs.
Hen Eggs refer to all production of hen eggs.
Duck Eggs refer to all production of duck eggs.
Other food fish mean other catch of fish excluding main fish used for human consumption.
Total trash fish mean small fish and some other marine animals which are not normally
used for human consumption but animal feed.
Farm-gate Price mean the prices of the product available at the farm excluding any
separately billed transport or delivery charge.
Farm Value mean the values of farm produce computed from farm-gate prices.
Yield mean total production per unit of harvested area.
Agricultural Land Holding Size mean the total areas of every piece of land held by farmer
for agriculture. It includes the lands that owned or held by farmer with or without rent.
Forest Land mean the area under forest as defined by the Royal Forest Department.
Unclassified Land mean the residual area after reduction of forest and agricultural areas
from the total areas of the country. It includes degraded forest areas (after reforestation,
this part can be reduced), municipal areas, non-farmer residence, business and industrial
areas, schools, hospitals, temples, roads, railways, airports, water ways, swamps, reservoirs,
public areas and other non-agricultural areas.
Idle Land mean the areas that left unused for more than 5 years.
Other Lands in Agricultural Areas mean the areas in the farms that allocated for
non-production purposes such as roads, paths, ditches, ponds, wells, etc.
Irrigable Areas mean the areas under the services of large and medium - scale irrigation
projects of the Royal Irrigation Department, where there are the systems to provide water
for agriculture, consumption, industry, tourism, etc. and to control flood as water quality.
Beneficial Areas mean the areas that can not get direct services from large and
medium-scale irrigation projects but people can get benefit from such projects indirectly
through small scale irrigation project initiated by government or farmer agencies.
