A player cannot participate on the Practice Squad for more than three seasons. After 4 P.M., New York time, a club is permitted to place a player on Reserve/Injured as “Designated for Return.” All clubs are required to file a personnel (injury) report with their conference information manager by 4:00 p.m., New York time. Reports are to be filed every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before a regular-season game by 4:00 p.m., New York time (or as soon as possible after the completion of practice). An update must also be reported if there is any change in a player’s condition after Friday. Regular Season opens. Beginning on these dates vested veterans terminated from the Active List or Inactive List (and from Reserve/Injured if the player is placed on Reserve/Injured after the beginning of the regular season) are entitled to receive, after the end of the regular season schedule, Termination Pay pursuant to the terms of the CBA. Priority on multiple waiver claims is now based on the current season’s standing. Beginning the day after the conclusion of the sixth regular-season weekend and continuing through the day after the conclusion of the ninth regular-season weekend, clubs are permitted to begin practicing players on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform and Reserve/Non-Football Injury or Illness for a period not to exceed 21 days. Players with at least four previous pension-credited seasons are subject to the waiver system for the remainder of the regular season and postseason. Signing period ends at 4 p.m., New York time, for Franchise Players who are eligible to receive Offer Sheets. Deadline for clubs to sign by 4 p.m., New York time, their unsigned Franchise and Transition Players, including Franchise Players who were eligible to receive Offer Sheets until this date. If still unsigned after this date, such players are prohibited from playing in NFL in 2015. RADIO BROADCASTERS After a successful inaugural campaign in 2014, Jaguars games and official team radio programming return in 2015 on 1010 XL AM and 92.5 FM, the team’s flagship radio partner. In addition, the games will be simulcast on 99.9 Gator Country. Jaguars broadcasts feature play-by-play announcer Frank Frangie, who joins Jeff Lageman and Tony Boselli in the booth, and field reporter Rick Ballou. A veteran broadcaster, Frangie has been and will continue to be an on-air talk show host at 1010 XL. He called a full schedule of college football games for eight seasons for Touchdown Radio. Frangie is in his 27th consecutive year as a talk show host in Jacksonville, almost all of them in afternoon drive time. He is a Jacksonville native and a 1980 graduate of the University of Florida. Lageman is in his 13th year as the Jaguars’ radio analyst. Prior to that, he served four seasons as the analyst for Jaguars preseason TV broadcasts. Lageman is also co-host of “Jaguars All Access” on WJXT-TV in addition to co-hosting “The Gus Bradley Show” on radio and TV and “Jaguars Thursday” on 1010 XL. Lageman played defensive end for the Jaguars from 1995-98 and 10 seasons in the NFL after being drafted 14th overall in the 1989 draft. Boselli served as color analyst for the Jaguars’ preseason TV broadcasts for seven years prior to joining the radio broadcast booth in 2013. He has also been a regular analyst for NFL games broadcast nationally on Westwood One the past five seasons. Boselli is a co-host of “Jaguars Monday” and “Jaguars Thursday” on 1010 XL. He was the second overall selection in the 1995 draft – the first in Jaguars history – and was a five-time Pro Bowl selection. Ballou has been paired with Frangie for their afternoon talk show for the past six and-a-half years on 1010 XL. Ballou is a Florida State graduate and has been in sports radio for 21 years, including seven at Sporting News Radio in Chicago. He also previously worked for PGA Tour Communications. 99.9 Gator Country serves as a promotional partner for the Jaguars and simulcasts Jaguars game broadcasts as part of a six-hour window on every Jaguars game day. The six-hour window accommodates pregame and postgame shows in addition to the game broadcast. MEDIA INFORMATION PRESEASON TELEVISION Jaguars TV programming, which includes preseason game broadcasts and ancillary programs, returns in 2015 to WJXT-TV Channel 4 for the second straight year. WJXT was previously the Jaguars’ local television partner in 2001-02. Veteran sports personality Sam Kouvaris of Channel 4 calls the play-by-play for the preseason games alongside former Jaguars quarterback Mark Brunell. Rounding out the broadcast team is Nikki Kimbleton serving as field reporter for the preseason games. Kouvaris, who called Jaguars preseason games in 2001 and 2002, also serves as co-host of “Jaguars All Access” and “The Gus Bradley Show” each week during the season on WJXT. He has play-by-play experience and has called events for CBS, NBC, ABC and ESPN. Kouvaris has been at WJXT since 1981 and has been sports director/managing editor since 2000. Brunell, a 19-year NFL veteran who played for the Jaguars from 1995-2003, assumed the role of color analyst for the Jaguars’ preseason games in 2013. In addition to calling Jaguars preseason games, he serves as an on-air talent on various NFL-themed shows on ESPN. Brunell, who still holds many of the franchise’s passing records, is also the head football coach at Episcopal School of Jacksonville. Kimbleton is an anchor and consumer reporter for Channel 4’s The Morning Show. Before coming home to Channel 4, she was the morning anchor for WNCT in Greenville, N.C. She also spent six years as a reporter and anchor with Birmingham’s Fox-owned and operated station, WBRC. J.P. Shadrick co-hosts game day studio coverage along with Mike Dempsey for the Jaguars Radio Network. The game day coverage includes the Publix Tailgate Show, Countdown to Kickoff, Jaguars Postgame and The Scoreboard Show. Shadrick also hosts “Jaguars Monday” and “Jaguars Thursday” on 1010 XL.
