FRIDAY’S INJURIES
Lions: DE Andre Branch (MCL sprain), TE Clay Harbor (minor ankle
sprain), WR Allen Hurns (hip tightness), G Brandon Linder (left
toe), and WR Allen Robinson (shoulder contusion).
HEAD COACH GUS BRADLEY ON FRIDAY’S INJURIES
(Injury update) “I have Brandon Linder, left toe. I think he could
have come back and played we just chose not to. Andre Branch we
will get an MRI on his knee. We’ve got our fingers crossed on that
one. I think we’ll see with that. I know he was walking around a little
bit in the training room. Allen Robinson returned to the game, Allen
Hurns just had some hip tightness so we chose to keep him out in
the second half, and then Clay Harbor, ankle. We’ll see how he is but
other than that I think we came out in pretty good shape.”
(Do you have guys here if Branch is out a while?) “I do. I think that
we might have to get creative in some of the things that we do and
we did that last year. We’ll see how Branch is but if we get him going
and Chris Clemons and Ryan Davis I think those three on third downs
can give us some pressure. It’s that first and second down. Can we
create enough pressure and affect the quarterback enough to get
some turnovers? I think that’s legit.”
