Vehicle Eligibility:<br />

To be eligible for coverage the vehicle must be listed as an eligible vehicle in the Vehicle Eligibility Guide. All trucks or vans are limited to a<br />

gross carrying weight of one ton (15,000 lbs GVW).<br />

Plan Qualification:<br />

January 1st shall be the model year change for determining eligibility. The vehicle must be 20 model years or newer and have less than<br />

200,000 miles on the odometer at the time of sale.<br />

Plan Term:<br />

Coverage starts on the contract effective date and expires at the earliest of: 3 months from the contract effective date or when the vehicle<br />

accumulates a total of 3,000 miles starting from the odometer reading on contract’s effective date.<br />

MANDATORY SURCHARGE:<br />

a. European Vehicles<br />

Optional Surcharges:<br />

a. Seals and Gaskets (available on vehicles <strong>with</strong> up to 150,000 miles) on covered components<br />

b. $100 Deductible<br />

c. Increased Limit of Liability (maximum of $2,500)<br />

Covered Components and Maintenance Conditions:<br />

a. All covered components must be functioning at the time of sale<br />

b. Pre-existing conditions are NOT covered<br />

c. Oil and filter MUST have been changed and other fluids maintained or changed as necessary prior to the sale of a used vehicle<br />

Limit of Liability:<br />

a. $1,500 Aggregate (standard)<br />

b. $2,500 Aggregate (optional)<br />

Dealer Requirements:<br />

a. All consumers who purchase, lease or otherwise acquire an eligible vehicle from the dealer must receive a free 3 Month/3000 Miles<br />

Vehicle Service Contract<br />

b. The dealer may not increase the vehicle price or charge the consumer in any way for the service contract<br />

c. The contract must be given away at the time the consumer completes the transaction<br />

d. The service contract may only be upgraded to one of the Matrix Method programs<br />

Ineligible Vehicles:<br />

Any vehicle that meets any of the following criteria is NOT eligible for coverage:<br />

a. Vehicles used at any time for: commercial use for business enterprise, trade, profession or occupation, competitive driving, taxi or livery,<br />

snow plowing or used for hire to the public or used to transport people for hire; municipal or professional emergency or police services;<br />

to tow a trailer whose weight exceeds the manufacturer’s recommendations, rental, limousine, shuttle, towing/wrecker service, lifting or<br />

hoisting, dumping (dump beds), cherry pickers<br />

b. Vehicles altered or modified in a fashion not recommended by the manufacturer, including installation of high performance equipment,<br />

lift or lowering kits, incorrect tires/wheels or removal of any emission devices<br />

c. Vehicles that are Kits Cars; High Performance, Exotic or Special Purpose, Engines Over 8 Cylinders, Alternative Fuel (Natural Gas, LP<br />

Gas, Propane), Modified Diesel<br />

d. Vehicles <strong>with</strong> odometers that are broken and/or the correct mileage cannot be determined and verified by the program administrator<br />

e. Vehicles that are “Grey” market, have been declared a total loss, salvaged, Lemon Law returns, or where the title has been branded<br />

f. Vehicles listed as “ineligible vehicles” in the Vehicle Eligibility Guide<br />

g. All electric vehicles<br />
