Cynhadledd Wanwyn Plaid Cymru 2011 Plaid Cymru Spring Conference 2011 Platform 51 Cymru supports girls and women as they take control of their lives Girls and women today face problems that are often subtle or misunderstood. Despite shifts in attitude and changes in the law, women are often unheard, isolated and face discrimination. Girls and women are at the heart of all we do. Our activities, services and campaigns are about things women need and want. We give them a platform to have their say and challenge discrimination. 11. Cymdeithas y Cynghorwyr / Councillors’ Association Mae’r Gymdeithas wedi ei sefydlu er mwyn cynorthwyo’r Blaid i gyflawni holl amcanion Llywodraeth leol, gan gynnwys Cynghorau Sir a Chynghorau Tref a Chymuned. Rydym yn cynorthwyo ein holl gynghorwyr ac yn hyrwyddo aelodau eraill o’r Blaid i sefyll fel darpar gynghorwyr. Rydym yn gorff ymchwil ar ran ein haelodau. Mae’r Gymdeithas yn cwrdd tua 4 gwaith y flwyddyn. Rydym yn cynnal stondin yn y Cynhadleddau ac hefyd yn ebostio at aelodau gopiau o’n cylchgrawn Cyngor. Mae gennym gynrychiolydd ar Bwyllgor Gwaith y Blaid. Mae’r Gymdeithas yn gwrthwynebu, a bydd yn ymgyrchu yn erbyn pob ffurf ar ddisgrimineiddio. The Association has been established to assist the Party in all aspects of Local Government, covering County Councils and Town & Community Councils. We help all councillors and encourage other party members to stand as prospective council candidates. We also act as a research body on behalf of our members. We meet four times a year. The Association’s magazine Cyngor is emailed to members. We have a representative on the National Executive. The Association is opposed to and will campaign against all forms of discrimination. Cymru x Adain ieuenctid Plaid Cymru yw CymruX. Ein nod yw annog a rhoi’r gallu i bobl ifanc Cymru i chwarae rôl weithgar ym mhroses wleidyddol y wlad er mwyn creu Cymru flaengar, teg ac annibynnol o fewn y gymdeithas ryngwladol. Mae Cymru X hefyd yn gyfrwng i baratoi aelodau ifanc ar gyfer swyddogaeth o fewn y Blaid (fel aelodau etholedig neu swyddogion). CymruX is Plaid Cymru’s Youth Movement. Our aim is to encourage and empower the young people of Wales to play an active role in the country’s political process in order to build a progressive, fair and independent Wales within the international community.CymruX is also a means of preparing the party’s younger members for roles within the party, as elected members or party officers. The Plaid Cymru policy stall includes information on Plaid policies and recent publications. The Plaid Cymru shop sells a variety of campaigning goods for the benefit of members and others.
