2.1.6 Additional funding for English support
sOA+D also makes a small amount of money available for
English checking and correction of conference papers and journal
articles. The process here is simple: 1) contact Khun Aoy and
provide her with a letter of acceptance and your paper;
2) contact the school’s English language lecturers to see if they
are available to help; 3) if not, ask for recommendations of
qualified candidates that can help; organise for the corrections
to be made and a receipt to be issued
2.2 THE SOA+D SUPPORT FUND FOR
CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS
2.2.1 Purpose
sOA+D provides financial support for the presentation of a
research paper at either national or international academic conferences.
funding can be used to cover travel, accommodation,
registration and other legitimate expenses.
2.2.2 Eligibility
The fund is open to all sOA+D academics and staff, regardless
of contract, qualifications and nationality.
2.2.3 Details
budget: 25,000 baht (maximum) per person year.
submit: all year.
method: submit proposal to Khun yaowaluk Dara at
the Dean’s Office.
Review: Dean and Executive committee.
2.2.4 conditions
The total budget is 1,000,000 baht per year. usually, only one application
per person per year is allowed. however, under special
circumstances, further funding
2.3 THE KMUTT RESEARCH FUND
2.3.1 Purpose
The KmuTT Research grant aims to increase the research
output of the university by encouraging new and early career
researchers. The funding is ideal for researchers who would like
to increase the scope and scale of their project and to leverage
other sources of funding.
2.3.2 Details
budget: 100,000 baht per project per year.

method: submit 4 copies of KmuTT Research fund Proposal

2.3.3 conditions
• Project should have proper mentor, and the applicant has
not received previous support from the research fund.
• Project has not requested other sources of financial support
• No remuneration for researcher.
• Applicant must submit two copies of progress report
every six months.
• Applicant must submit two unbound copies of draft
final report after project completion.
• After approval of draft report, two copies of complete final
report and digital files must be submitted.
• The project must be published in conference proceedings or
national/ international journal.
2.4 KMUTT RESEARCH PROjECTS FUNDED
bY THE NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL
OF THAILAND
2.4.1 Purpose
To encourage KmuTT ajarn to apply for funding from the
National Research council of Thailand (RiPPc). Researchers are
requested to submit proposals to the university for collation and
prioritization, prior to submission to the council
2.4.2 Eligibility
This fund is open to Thai faculty.
