Greetings Nobles &
Ladies!
Here it is April and
the snow is still flying!!
Will we ever see green
grass and flowers this
year?
Chang As you know, we
have a lot of parades
scheduled for the upcoming year. Please
try to make as many of the parades as will
work with your schedules throughout the
summer. We will update the parade
schedule after each monthly meeting, so
keep in touch.
President Brick announced a petition
from Noble Ernie Flury for membership
in the Dragon Patrol. He was elected to
join the group. Welcome to Ernie and his
Lady Becky!

As you read this the
Circus is past and
this 90th year was a
big success and one
for the ages, I want
to thank everyone
who helped out
this year to make
it such a success.
is being my
first year working
at the circus I
personally want
to thank Pat Johnson, Kenny
and Diane Monaghan, PP Frank Peterson,
and Nancy and Jerry Payne for helping me
out, showing me around, introducing me
to everyone, and the hospitality. I met a lot
of new people and truly had a lot of fun. I
also want to thank my Lady Audrey and
my kids for being okay with me not being
there for the four days I was clowning
around.
With Spring finally here we now move
on to the parade season which kicks off for
us on May 19th in Preston. e
Ambulance is out, cleaned up, stocked with
candy, and ready to go. I hope to have one
of the best parade seasons this year.

Dragon 30th Yearbook.
e 30-year anniversary
booklet is being distributed to
members, widows, and the
Divan. We have also sold
books. If anyone would like to purchase
Bozie (Bob Boesen) was one of several
Merry Medics and Cannon Valley clowns
working the circus.
Just like the Marines we are always
looking for a few good men. Contact me if
you are interested in becoming a Merry
Medic and join in on our fun. We meet the
4th ursday of the month at e Clarion
Inn in Rochester. Until next time, I hope

Twin Cities - Shrine Hospital 90th
Anniversary. Noble Dan
Rasmussen relayed the Twin
Cities Shrine Hospital would
be having a 90th anniversary
this May. He indicated that
the Dragon would be
parading at the hospital.

May. Note that the leave
time is 7:30 AM for the 10
AM parade.
RASC Summer Picnic. RASC President
Larry Norte asked the Dragon Patrol to
again host the Rochester Area Shrine
Club's summer picnic to be held at
“Norte Ranch.” It will be on June 7th.
Midwest in Duluth. Midwest will be in
Duluth this year August 15-17. e
ursday parade will be in Superior and
the Saturday parade will be in Procter.
Our motel is the Comfort Inn and Suites
on the canal. A show of hands indicated
most all in attendance were going along
with many Ladies attending. More
information to follow.
Driver Information. It was noted we
currently have 7 drivers with DL and Med
cards on file. Nobles Kisro, D Koenig, and
Pulver are updating their information.
Nobles Clark and D Rasmussen are
getting med cards and will be added to
the DL list. Drivers over 70 - If you drive
the cart or vehicle you need to fill out the
Temple form and turn it in to the
secretary for forwarding to the Temple.
Bus. It was reported that Brad Stout
from Austin would bring their bus over
on May 4th to hook it to our trailer to see
if the bus they have would pull our trailer
okay. ey have the same bus we
purchased. is would be the first step in
preparing the bus for our use.
